Herons!

The Great Blue Herons on the bird island in Tabor Lake are sitting on the nest. This is the third year we’ve seen them there, in the same nest. I’m looking forward to seeing the chicks! We can’t see them when they first hatch because the nest is deep and it’s about 200 feet away.
